A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Get together, NNPP, Buba Galadima, has alleged that former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, is a placeholder for the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP, ex-presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, within the Social Democratic Get together, SDP.
Galadima made the revelation throughout an interview with AIT.
He questioned why Atiku would conform to work with El-Rufai, contemplating his earlier assaults on the Vice President.
Stressing that El-Rufai has no political relevance, Galadima stated the intending SDP coalition was ineffective and merely noisemaking.
Galadima stated: “Did El-Rufai win one native authorities in Kaduna in 2020? He was a sitting governor in Kaduna when PDP gained all three senatorial elections.
“He was a sitting governor in Kaduna when the PDP gained 12 out of 14 Home of Reps seats, they usually gained just one, whereas the opposite one was gained by the Labour Get together. That’s, as a sitting governor. Now that he’s out and even preventing the governor from outdoors, what number of votes do you assume he can win?”
“The SDP coalition is ineffective; their actions are merely noisemaking. El-Rufai is definitely serving as a placeholder for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar throughout the SDP.”
“I’m shocked at Atiku’s willingness to work with El-Rufai. El-Rufai had beforehand suggested Atiku to save lots of his cash for his kids and declared that Atiku would by no means grow to be president in Nigeria.”
“The New Nigeria Folks’s Get together (NNPP) would emerge because the bigger car to unite opposition events within the 2027 presidential election.”
Atiku, El-Rufai, and a few eminent politicians had introduced the start of a coalition below the SDP.
Following the declaration, a former presidential candidate of SDP, Adewale Adebayo, stated Atiku, Peter Obi, and a few eminent politicians are in talks to hitch the get together.
Adebayo stated the coalition would wrest energy from President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
