Safety professional, Jeff Nweke has been elected because the candidate of the African Alliance, AA, for the November 8 governorship election in Anambra.
Nweke, emerged at a congress of the get together held in Awka on Thursday, the place he scored a complete of 58 votes forward of his rivals, Amarachukwu Obioha and Mike Enemuo who scored eight and 6 votes to come back second and third respectively.
Returning officer for the congress, James Vernimbe, who introduced the results of the congress stated the Choice A4 adopted for the train was for equity, transparency and consistent with the structure of the get together.
In response to him, a complete of 72 delegates turned up for the election out of which 72 have been accredited and 72 legitimate votes forged.
In his acceptance speech, Nweke stated he would deal with the management challenges in Anambra if elected.
