Lere Olayinka, Senior Particular Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has criticised some elders of Rivers State over their assaults on the minister whereas supporting the suspended governor, Sim Fubara.
Olayinka said that sure elders in Rivers State have turned themselves into monitoring spirits, fixated on Wike’s actions inside the state.
He was responding to remarks by a former governor of the state, Ada George, who alleged that Wike orchestrated the political disaster in Rivers State.
At a press convention, George claimed that Wike was liable for the state of emergency declared in Rivers State and the appointment of directors throughout all 23 native authorities areas within the state.
Condemning these feedback, Olayinka accused elders like George of taking part in the ostrich when Fubara was “appearing like an emperor.”
