Plateau, Benue bloodbath: ‘Clear the mess, this disgrace cannot proceed’ – APC chieftain tells NSA

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has known as on the Nationwide Safety Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, to urgently proffer an answer to the bloodletting occurring in Benue and Plateau States.

DAILY POST stories that in the previous couple of days, a number of unsuspecting Nigerians have been killed in Benue and Plateau by legal parts inflicting chaos throughout the nation.

About 51 individuals have been killed on Monday by gunmen within the Zikke and Kakpa communities in Bassa Native Authorities Space of Plateau State, whereas a number of others have been left injured.

Concurrently, a collection of assaults have been recorded in Otukpo, Benue State, with scores of Nigerians killed and homes burnt down by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

Reacting to the unlucky occurrences, the APC chieftain, in a submit on his official Fb web page, urged the NSA to take rapid motion, stating that the “disgrace can’t proceed.”

“The Nationwide Safety Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, ought to clear the mess and cease the shedding of harmless blood in Plateau State and Benue State.

“The disgrace can’t proceed. Sufficient is sufficient!” Igbokwe posted.
