Former Manchester United star Paul Parker has stated that the membership’s present goalkeeper, Andre Onana, just isn’t match for the place.
Onana’s performances have been poor of late, and the Cameroon worldwide was neglected of the Pink Devils’ squad for his or her final sport in opposition to Newcastle United.
The United supervisor took the choice after Onana gave away two objectives in opposition to Lyon within the UEFA Europa League quarter-final first leg.
Parker advised SPORTbible, “I simply don’t see Onana as a really pure goalkeeper, he doesn’t have superb fingers and can be significantly better off at proper again I’m certain.
“For photographs, he doesn’t transfer his toes to get into positions, and dives very weirdly with weak fingers. He appears to be like like when a goalkeeper has been despatched off and a centre half has to go in between the sticks.
“Many people have been saying for ages that he’s not adequate to be Manchester United’s primary, however they’ll all say it now.”
United tackle Lyon on Thursday within the second leg of the quarter-final at Previous Trafford.
