The Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has revealed why he didn’t assist Peter Obi of the Labour Get together within the 2023 presidential election.
The previous Rivers State Governor mentioned Peter Obi had no probability of successful the 2024 election.
He disclosed it on Friday, throughout his media chat in Abuja.
He mentioned he defined that he’s not akin to supporting social media candidates as the rationale he backed Tinubu’s presidency.
“He had no probability of successful the election; you individuals like this type of social media candidate. I don’t do social media candidates. I sit down as a politician and analyse candidates who’re prone to win an electio”n.
Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Get together and Peter Obi to clinch victory on the February election.
Thereafter, Tinubu appointed Wike in August 2023 to function minister.
