The Russian ambassador to the United Nations, UN, Vassily Nebenzia, has accused Ukraine of ignoring the power ceasefire.
He acknowledged this after a joint assertion, with the likes of Slovenia, Denmark, France, Greece, and Britain urging Russia to comply with a full and unconditional ceasefire.
Slovenia’s UN ambassador, Samuel Zbogar, mentioned: “Ukraine needs peace, and has demonstrated this by agreeing to a full, quick and unconditional ceasefire 5 weeks in the past. On the consultations immediately, Russia once more rejected the great ceasefire and refused to make its first step in direction of peace.”
