2027: Igbos will give Tinubu 80% votes – Deputy Speaker Kalu


The Deputy Speaker of the Home of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, on Friday acknowledged that President Bola Tinubu would obtain between 70 to 80 per cent of votes from the South-East through the 2027 presidential election.

Kalu assured that the variety of votes from the South-East would characterize the Igbo folks’s means of repaying Tinubu for his dedication to the area’s growth.

He gave this assurance in Ntalakwu, situated within the Ikwuano Native Authorities Space of Abia State, as contained in an announcement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu.

Kalu mentioned, “We’re promising the President, 70 to 80 per cent of votes from Igboland. Allow us to proceed to stay as individuals who love peace and unity.
