The Borno State Police Command has confirmed the restoration of an unexploded ordnance (UXO) and a number of other explosive fragments in Maiduguri, following the current hearth and explosion on the Giwa Barracks navy armory.
In response to police sources, a crew from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal–Chemical, Organic, Radiological, and Nuclear (EOD-CBRN) unit was swiftly deployed to the scene.
In response to Zagazola Makama, the suspected explosive, believed to have originated from the sooner navy incident, was safely evacuated by bomb disposal specialists with none incident.
“Along with the rocket, mortar bombs and projectile fragments have been recovered from close by residential areas,” the assertion famous.
