A whole bunch of members of Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP) in Oyo State have joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Our correspondent gathered that the PDP members joined APC forward of the 2027 normal elections.
The previous PDP members who got here from Egbeda and Ona Ara native authorities areas introduced their defection at an APC assembly held at Elekuro Excessive College, Olorunsogo Ibadan.
Our correspondent reviews that the occasion, which was held on Saturday, was attended by an APC aspirant for Egbeda/Ona-Ara federal constituency, Kazeem Akinola, Yinka Folarin, Shina Adeagbo, Bola Fawole and Alhaji Agbedo.
Akinola welcomed the defectors to APC on behalf of different members of the social gathering.
In keeping with him, it’s the time of Ona Ara to provide the member representing the federal constituency.
He mentioned, “I’m excited to be with you right now, you recognize the place we’re coming from, the place we’re and the place we’re going. On this mission, I’m pleased with the turnout of the assembly. me as a celebration man over time.
“You rally spherical me over time, I recognize it and I don’t take it without any consideration. It’s time for Ona-Ara LGA to provide the Home of Representatives, Egbeda LGA has finished it for 8 years uninterruptedly.”
APC Chairman in Ona Ara LGA, Alhaji Prince Abdulwasiu Kolawole Ogundipe, appreciated God for holding all social gathering members protected and safe.
He described APC as a progressive social gathering that prioritizes peace.
Ogundipe appealed to all social gathering members to unfold love and unity amongst themselves.
He reiterated that the social gathering on the state degree has endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second time period.
A former Chairman of Ona-Ara Native Authorities, Biliaminu Ogundele, known as for calm.
Ogundele careworn that no inner faction can single-handedly win the election with out the help of others.
