After 61 years, The Music is Over for rock titans The Who. On Thursday (Might 8) the band introduced they’ll play their closing run of reveals in North America this coming August and September as a part of a farewell tour. The announcement was made by guitarist Pete Townshend at a press convention in London with singer Roger Daltrey showing through video hyperlink.
The tour – named after their 1971 music “The Music is Over” – kicks off in Newark, N.J. on Aug. 19 and runs by main cities together with New York Metropolis, Boston, Toronto, Los Angeles and extra.
