Six outlets razed fown by early morning fireplace in Ibadan

Properties price tens of millions of naira have been destroyed in an early morning fireplace in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

DAILY POST gathered that the incident occured at Police Barracks, Omolewa, Yemetu space in Ibadan on Saturday, ravaging six outlets out of the 24 within the buying complicated.

Normal Supervisor of Oyo State Fireplace Service, Mr Yemi Akinyinka confirmed the incident on Saturday.

He mentioned the company acquired a misery name in regards to the incident within the early hours of Saturday.

“The unlucky incident was reported at precisely 02:09am of Saturday tenth, 2025.

“The fireplace personnel led by ACFS Adedeji (Mrs) promptly deployed to the scene and on getting there, it was found to be lock-up outlets on fireplace and we rapidly swung into motion and we had been in a position to curtailed the fireplace in time.

“The fireplace incident was on account of overheating of plugged deep freezer in a single day unattended caught fireplace and set the place ablaze.
