Suspected herders kill eight farmers close to Taraba–Benue border

At the least eight folks have been confirmed lifeless following an assault by suspected armed Fulani militias on farmers in Chinku group, Wukari Native Authorities Space of Taraba State, close to the Benue border.

In response to studies obtained by Zagazola, the attackers, wielding firearms and machetes, invaded the realm and focused farmers engaged on their farmlands.

A crew of safety operatives later recovered the our bodies of the victims, who have been recognized as Jonathan Ordonga, Joseph Torsev Yagba, Aondolumun Torsev Yagba, Torkulugh Apirgwa, Orfega Atuku, Orshoja Kuramga, Tersugh Mbaaiiga, and Shater Buchi.

All of the victims have been of Tiv ethnicity and have been both shot or hacked to loss of life. Their stays have been taken to Iorna Clinic in Jootar, Ukum Native Authorities Space of Benue State, the place they have been confirmed lifeless and handed over to their households for burial.

In response to the incident, safety authorities have summoned the Ardo of the Fulani group in Chinku to an emergency assembly on the Wukari Native Authorities Secretariat.
