‘Being True to Myself’: What I informed IBB on Interim Govt — Sule Lamido

A former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, has revealed that he informed ex-Nigerian army President, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB), to “resign and depart workplace” following his annulment of the June 12 presidential election received by Moshood Kashimawo Abiola in 1993 and the following formation of an interim authorities.

He disclosed this in an excerpt of his 487-page e-book, ‘Being True to Myself,’ unveiled in Abuja on Tuesday.

In accordance with him, he was glad with the formation of the interim authorities, offered it was going to result in IBB’s exit.

He famous that the selection of former President Olusegun Obasanjo as presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) in 1999 was to heal the injuries of the June 12 election annulment.
