David Seaman, a former Arsenal goalkeeper, has rubbished former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher’s current feedback about midfielder Declan Rice.
Following Arsenal’s current Premier League 2-2 draw with Liverpool final weekend, Carragher advised that Rice may begin to consider his future and leaving the Gunners in the event that they fail to win a trophy once more subsequent season.
When requested to react to Carragher’s feedback on the Seaman Says podcast, Seaman replied: “Wow. So now we have not even completed this season and he’s speaking about [Arsenal] not doing something subsequent season… after which somebody [ Declan Rice] may depart within the subsequent season.
” No, I can’t imagine that he [Jamie Carragher] has stated one thing like that as a result of I’m enthusiastic about subsequent season with Arsenal.
“They’re getting higher and higher, they’re contending constantly.”
He added, “We find yourself taking part in PSG that had been a incredible group so Declan will keep. There isn’t a downside, under no circumstances.”
Rice joined Arsenal from West Ham United in 2023 after beating Manchester Metropolis for his signature.
The England star has rapidly established himself at Emirates Stadium as a fan favorite.
