Gov Alia condemn resurgence of assaults, killings in Benue

Benue State Governor, Rev. Hyacinth Alia has condemned the renewed coordinated assaults by suspected herdsmen on communities in Emblem and Ukum Native Authorities Areas that claimed many harmless lives on Thursday and Friday.

He said this throughout a state broadcast to the folks on Sunday.

Gov Alia stated they’ve confirmed the tragic lack of twenty (20) treasured lives within the Sankera axis and 5 corpses had been initially recovered in Gbagir and brought to the mortuary.
